Retro Wedding Rhythms: Crafting the Ultimate 90s Sing-Along Soiree with DJ ESG

Yo guys, what's up? Dj ESG Honest Wedding Advice, season number 8, and I'm talking about 90s catchy themes that you can sing along to on the dance floor. Here comes the DJ We'll just call him me ESG out with the microphone and we're like yo, we're gonna sing along to this song, even though some people are totally against that. But some people aren't, and if you aren't, well, here's what we're gonna do. I'm gonna give you the 10 songs that I think would make the best sing-alongs for the 90s lovers out there, or those people that are just big fans of the 90s. That I think would go over great on a wedding dance floor. That also would go over great on a microphone if I added a whole shitload of reverb and if you sounded like dog shit and only could sing in the key of C and we were rolling G and nobody would know the difference because everybody would be singing along with you.

So let's start. Here's my 10 top picks for that. I want it that way by the backstreet boys. It is a fan favorite. Crowds love that song, everybody knows the words and even if the one person singing it doesn't know the words or can't sing in key, you'll have 50 other people backing that person up and it'll sound wonderful. It'll sound like a first day choir, you know, trying to practice without everybody being in the right spot. So think like Sister Act 2 before Whoopi got involved.

Wonderwall by Oasis another great song, not a fast song, but cool song to sing along to Live in. La Vida Loca by Ricky Martin. If you have some people there from the ethnic culture, people from down south, from Mexico, from Puerto Rico, and you can pull this one off, it is fantastic. It's an older song. People might not remember the lyrics, but I'm telling you it's a dope tune. Don't Speak. By no Doubt, gwen Stefani.

A lot of people know this song. There's some other ones out there that may be a little bit more known. But this song makes the most sense for a wedding because playing a song like Just a Girl, you know what are the guys supposed to do. Hey, guess what? I can't sing this song because I'm not just a girl, unless you are. Then we have another conversation, torn by Natalie Imbruglia, great song All Star by Smash Mouth. Who doesn't want to get behind that one? No Scrubs by TLC. Yes, it's a wedding, but it's also number one on TikTok right now. That CD has charted Left Eye, t-boz and Chili. You're like who's that? But I'm telling you it's the number one track on iTunes right now because it's trending on TikTok. I'll Be there For you. The theme from the Rembrandts Listen, if you went to a bar mitzvah as a kid, every single person had this song when their friends came up.

But if so six people on a couch in an apartment you know that this was the jam, the absolute jam. So if you know the words to it, telling you it works. And, last but not least, a slow song Truly Madly, deeply by Savage Garden. You can dance to this slow and still sing it to your partner and it's the cutest thing ever because a lot of people know the words to this song and they knew the words to this song when it came out, and it's such a dope wedding song. So these are fun sing-alongs that carry a sense of nostalgia that can make the wedding even more memorable for everybody involved. Trust me, it's great advice.
