Sometimes the advice is for the couple.
Sometimes the advice is for the vendors.
Regardless, I have almost 100K streams on 15 different platforms with the number one wedding podcast in the Philadelphia Tri-State area.
I'm Eric Scott Gold, DJ ESG, a private event DJ with over 30+ years of experience. These are my micro tips! The SHORT version of EVERYTHING, because Millennials and Gen Z's have the attention spans of a flea. I sugarcoat NOTHING. It's all from the heart and as RAW as it comes. I hope you can appreciate the honesty.
I have over 3,500 events under my belt with over 1000 online reviews. I'm a 7-time finalist for "International Mobile Entertainer Of The Year", a three-time "Best Of Philadelphia" winner, a two-time "Best Of San Diego" winner, and a two-time "Best Of Bucks" winner. I am the number one advocate in the nation for LGBTQ weddings and the first person to ever hold the pride flags up at the International DJ Expo during a live performance. I've also officiated over 200 weddings and over 50 same-sex weddings. Lastly, I had the amazing and distinguished honor of MCing (with my buddy Bob Palio behind the decks) Jason & Kylie Kelce's wedding. Yes, THAT Jason Kelce! #GoBirds

What's up, guys? Dj EST season 10 on this wedding advice and I cannot wait to talk to you about what's coming up this year. I'm already losing my fucking voice and I haven't even started doing weddings yet. Yo, we have some crazy, crazy, crazy venues this year. I got barns, I got country clubs, I got warehouses, I got this one place that has fire burning in the background and people are doing BMX bikes up and down while you're having your fucking ceremony. You can bikes up and down while you're having your fucking ceremony. You can watch people do flips and all this other kind of shit. Yo, it's fucking dope.
Speaker 0:I cannot wait to bring you this season and still, I have all my great advice on all the shit you're supposed to do and not supposed to do on your wedding day. And people might think yo, eric, you're talking about one day of my entire life and I'm supposed to listen to 200 fucking podcasts about this. No, you're supposed to pick the one that makes the most sense to you and it resonates and listen to that one, or share it with a friend who you think is fucked up in the head and not listening to you, because a lot of times you have people that are getting married and they're like yo, should I do this, Should I do that? And you think to yourself you're going to ruin your wedding day by doing people overthinking bullshit and nonsense, and clients like brides and grooms and grooms and grooms and brides and brides and I'm LGBTQ friendly go off on tangents of things that are irrelevant to the big day, stress over it and, honest to God, not enjoy themselves, and that is the thing I'm trying to avoid with this fucking podcast.
Speaker 0:Honest Wedding Advice is for you to be able to listen to 30 years of experience from somebody who's been there, done that and understand that, going into your big day, just chill the fuck out, let it happen, have a good time, get drunk or don't get drunk and party like a rock star, because when it's over you're gonna be popping out kids. Maybe You're gonna have to get a real job and a house and a real life. You're gonna have to go through all those things like little league and t-ball and gymnastics and soccer, buying fritos and buying those little milk jugs for the kids and being snack mom or snack dad and then working a full-time job and building fences and putting up fucking windows and making sure that your air conditioner and your heater works, so this is like your last hurrah before all that happens. So, even though it's your wedding, it's sort of a graduation from easy life. So trust me, honest wedding advice is the shit.
Speaker 0:And now I'm at season 10 and this is episode one. So stay with me. This year I got a lot of cool shit coming up, like always peace, love and God above. I'm ESG and what I say is fucking good shit. Love you. Talk to you soon, bye-bye.
