What's up guys? Dj ESG on Wedding Advice, season Number 10, and today I'm talking about one of the two weddings I had this past weekend. Hey, use it or lose it. You know what I mean. I got some new backing tracks starting today. Fralinger String Band. Man, they are, you know, if nothing screams South Philly, they scream South Philly. Those motherfuckers. If you've never heard of a mummers band before, you're not from Philadelphia. Come over here. Eat a cheesesteak, get a fucking one, win it without. You are missing out on some shit. January 1st you can see all of them, dude, they're amazing. Anyway, this past weekend I had a wedding.

The wedding was crazy. I had 150-some 175 people. I was at the downtown club in Philly. Brad and groom walked in there and they go listen, you do what you do. Other than the groom asking me one time to play more modern music because I guess he was ready to go. Everything was fucking amazing. And the bride and groom just said listen, man, you do what you do. And if you do what you do and you do it right, my guests will have a good time, and they partied all night long. I mean, you don't need a big 15 piece band, you don't need a big light show. You don't need fucking people falling out of the ceiling, aerial acts, balloons, you know, confetti stuff blowing up all over the place. You just need a good dj, good music, good food, because I was at chess cafe and chess cafe makes some fucking bomb food and if you're not from the area, like I said, google that shit. Chess cafe has a ton of venues. I know there's a lot of places out there in the world that have caterers, that do multiple venues. This is a very good one. They've been around since 2002, I think somewhere in that ballpark.

But listen, we just went and we went the entire time. I think I played one slow song nonstop and the Bar with Downtown Club is in the separate room, but it's not in a place where you can't hear what's going on. So, 11th floor, great view of the city, just a fun time, you know nothing crazy, no crazy. Lights, no crazy. This, no crazy that. Just a little bit of a dim feel, because we did turn the lights in the room down a little bit, so we dimmed the actual sconces and the ceilings. I had a couple blinky, blinky things, nothing crazy, you know no. Lasers, that's just. And man, we just played the right music and we partied the entire time.

And I tell people, if you just let me do what I do and you guys just enjoy yourself and don't second guess anything, everything's gonna be fucking amazing. I'm telling you it was. It was great, it was such a good time. I was taking pictures trying to for like my portfolio, I couldn't even move from the dj booth. So the moral of this one is just, you know, if you got a good dj and he knows what he's doing and you just allow him or her to do what it is that that he or she does, everything works out, it all works out. Trust me, it's great advice. Take it or leave it. I'm dj esg, peace, love and god above, and I'll be back because I got another wedding to talk about this past weekend, much smaller, much more condensed and a totally different night of the week.
