Millennials and Gen Z? He sees you. He knows your flea-sized attention spans. That’s why his micro tips are short, snappy, and unfiltered, served with a heaping side of "you're welcome."
The accolades? Oh, they’re endless. Seven-time "International Mobile Entertainer of the Year" finalist. Multi-time "Best Of" winner in Philadelphia, San Diego, AND Bucks County. The nation’s loudest, proudest LGBTQ wedding advocate, and the first to hoist the Pride flags at the International DJ Expo like the hero weddings never knew they needed. Oh, and did we mention he’s officiated over 200 weddings? Including 50+ same-sex unions? Or that he had the honor of MCing THE Jason Kelce wedding with his buddy Bob on the decks? Yeah. #GoBirds indeed.
So, buckle up for DJ ESG's wedding wisdom—raw, real, and straight from the heart. Peace, Love, and God Above!

What's up guys? Dj ESG on Wedding Advice, season number 12, and today I'm talking about Thanksgiving Eve weddings. Yeah, they are fucking hot man, let me tell you, you can have a wedding on Thanksgiving Eve because you know that the entire world is going to be home. So when you send out those invitations 100, 150, 200 people they are all going to be there. I have done a ton of Thanksgiving Eve weddings in my career. I didn't do one this year, but I have one next year and yo. They are some of the coolest, funnest times Because, unlike Labor Day or Memorial Day or sometimes even New Year's Eve, thanksgiving Eve nobody's working the next day, unless you work in food service.
Speaker 1:You know what I mean. Like you're going to be home because it's Thanksgiving and everybody's going to be here. So you're like pretty much saying, okay, if you're flying in, you're flying in anyway. And then who has to get up? If you're watching the parade on television, you know you just turn it on the Macy's Day Parade or the one in Philly. That used to be good and now sucks. It's fucking terrible. I mean this year it was raining in Macy's or Macy's in New York City, but still a cool ass parade. But you know you don't have to worry about nothing. Like it's like, ok, let's go, we're going to party. And the next day you're like I'm not.
Speaker 1:Thanksgiving is not real Fucking sun, it's all over the place. It's not really a holiday where you like get shit faced, like you spend time with the family, you eat and you fall asleep. So Thanksgiving is not like a we're going to get fucking loaded holiday. It's more of a. You know it's a treat. You know it's one of those. Okay, we're all going to get together. We're going to scroll on TikTok, watch football, eat turkey, pretend it Chiptun, whatever it's called. It's real. I don't even know if it's real or not. We're like oh, you're tired on Thanksgiving. You don't get tired from that turkey. You get tired because you eat too goddamn much. That's what you get tired from. It's not from whatever in the turkey, because that's bullshit. I don't care what people tell you. I've been trying to figure that shit out for years and it's not what's in the turkey.
Speaker 1:So Thanksgiving Eve weddings I mean. Also, you know you're not a good clip because it is still a holiday evening where people do want to get married, but it's not like crazy where it's like a Saturday in October or Saturday in May or even like a Saturday in November. It's still a weekday, so there's still. I mean, you have to pay the staff, obviously, to get people to have staff there, because staff doesn't want to be there, they want to be partying. So they definitely give their staff different venues a little bit extra to come in that day. But yeah, let me tell you something Most people on Thanksgiving Eve anyway, they don't want to cook, they don't want to clean, they don't want to do shit.
Speaker 1:You telling them they're going to come to a wedding, it's perfect, it's amazing advice to have your wedding on Thanksgiving Eve. It's, I mean, it's super cool. And then every year you have like okay, anniversary, and then the next day you got Thanksgiving, and that weekend you got Black Friday, and then all that money goes down the tubes on Saturday and Sunday and then you think you're done. Then today, whatever it's Cyber Monday, amazon, you know it's like boom, there you go. So people aren't stupid, everybody knows when they get you. So I'm telling you, dj ESG, it's great advice. Thanksgiving Eve weddings take it or leave it. I'll be back. Peace, love and God above, and I'm out. Bye-bye.
